Health students hold signs praising HOSA

Health Science Technology

The Health Science Technology program  introduces students to medical careers available in today's high tech health care facilities and learn related skills in a hands-on environment. Students work toward certifications in adult, child and infant CPR, AED, and first aid. They also delve into medical terminology and healthcare laws and ethics.

Students may participate in a Licensed Nursing Assistant Program which provides them with an opportunity to achieve licensure as a nursing assistant. Others may elect the Emergency Medical Technician Program which prepares the student for national certification and state licensure.
